Time Lapse Tube Disruption

Bugger all to do with New Labour Spin (well I could delve into the horror that is PPP - but I can't be arsed at the moment)...

This link takes you to the website of Stefan Magdalinski (founder of UpMyStreet and part of the brains behind theyworkforyou.com), who has taken the trouble of snapshotting the London Underground Tube Disruption Map every 10 minutes over a 15 day period. The result is a rather cool time lapse movie showing the dreadful state of the underground system.

Stefan has used this data to compute that the Tube is only disruption free for 22% of the time it is running.

"Buy a bike" is Stefan's advice. Just make sure you park it somewhere legal, otherwise the local council will break off your locks and steal it.
